A welcomed return
Last Season saw one of our key players have an unfortunate accident by breaking his tib and fib. It has been a long road to recovery, but Shaun Taylor has now returned to the side that saw him lift the following trophies:-
03/04 - Supporters Player, Players Player & Player of the Season
The end of January saw Tids return after being unavailable for selection for the away trip against Thorntree in the Cup. His first game back was a bit of a baptism of fire going in at the deep end against our rivals Hemsworth M W.
Tid returned to the starting line up and scored on his first game back which really is a welcomed relief, knowing that he has still got that finishing touch. He has gone on to score in 3 of his last 4 outings, with an impressive display in his last game which unbelievably ended with him not on the score sheet. A couple of the goals have been real belters - not sure that he actually meant them, but hey....... they all count.
This is perfect timing for the League Cup Semi Final against last years defeated semi finalists - Crofton Colts Res, and just when all the big games are coming around again.
From all of the team it is great to have Tid back on the field rather than watching from the side line.
