Shepherds Arms have reached their target for the season which was to get promoted for the second season in a row.
The Mighty Shepherds Arms were not so mighty in last two games of the season having a slightly under strength team in both games saw them take only 1 point.
The home draw against Wrenthorpe in theory ended the chase for the title with Hemsworth looking very unlikely to slip up. When it came to the last game against Wakefield Athletic 'B' - the majority of the team were feeling under the weather following on from their exploits in Benidorm on Coxy's stag weekend.
When all said though still a very good season with the main target being achieved - PROMOTION - for the second season in a row.

In the 05/06 season it would have taken a miracle to stop Oli getting the top goalscorer award - however, Dave Ramsey was hitting his form on both Saturdays and Sundays and hitting the net. Unfortunately the run came a little too late.
Oli has set a new club record with 39 goals in a season - which is not bad from a striker that started at the end of October.
Next season will be very interesting - the previous record holder is back and I am sure Dave Ramsey will have something to say right from the start.
